V/H/S/2 (2013)

The sequel of one of the most talked about Horror Movie in 2012, V/H/S. This time, more horrifying, stomach-wrenching, and fantastically and disgustingly good.

Like the first part, the movie is all about found short horror VHS tapes. The only thing different in this sequel, is that there are only 4 short films.

A bit unlike the first movie, the movie begins where two people named Larry and Ayesha who breaks in to a student's dorm and found VHS tapes.

The title of the four VHS tapes are: Phase I Clinical Trials, A Ride in The Park, Safe Haven, and Slumber Party Alien Abduction.

"Phase I Clinical Trials" tells about a man who got a strange eye after an accident. Soon, he founds out that ghosts roam around his house.

"A Ride in the Park" is about a cyclist who got bitten by a zombie in the park, then turned into a zombie and attacks people in the park.

"Safe Haven" is about a group of Indonesian news crew who enters an Indonesian cult. Not knowing what danger is about to face them.

Lastly, "Slumber Party Alien Abduction" is about a group of kids having fun while the 'rents aren't around. Until, Aliens comes in and abducts them.

"Tape 49" on the, other hand, tells about what happens after Ayesha watches them. The movie ends where Larry and Ayesha dies and the guy in the footage that Ayesha found in the laptop gives a thumbs up in the camera.

So here's my comment on the 4 short films. "Phase I Clinical Trials" gave me this shock factor, which I also found in other Horror Movies. and honestly, the most boring one of them all. "A Ride in the Park" reminds me a bit of "Warm Bodies", excluding the romantic stuff. So far, it was the only short film that made me laugh. Also, the zombie thing is "too fictional" for me. "Safe Haven" for me was outright disturbing. The gore, the scare factor and the twist in the end wasn't that bad. And "Slumber Party Alien Abduction" was like the R-16 version of "Aliens in the Attic" and I think it's lame that this became part of the movie.

I'm giving this movie an 8 out of 10. Comparing to the first movie (although I haven't watched it yet), this one was close to perfection.
